Here is the version I cut for the Sundance Roll Call collaboration.
I tried to get as many people in here as possible (as well as resource every single RECord I used - let me know if I missed anything!)
I wanted to have an intro/outro that were similar (hence the computer screens of the anonymous "RECorder" and Regular Joe to open and close the video.)
Maybe the intro could be slicker (I'm a novice at best at pasting video to make it look like it's in a computer screen for instance.) But I wanted there to be a story behind the piece, and a little extra for the viewers to understand we are an online community and communicate through the computer.

hey hey! here's a hitRECord mashup. my initial plan was to squeeze as many things as possible in there, but i figured i'd need to scale back that ambition if i was going to achieve any sense of cohesion. so, in the end, i used just 28 samples. still enough to keep you on your toes, i hope! will go about uploading all the individual loops tomorrow if i get a chance.
The original video shot by Tarin (uploaded by Dr. Gory) really affected me the moment I saw it. I happened to check the newest RECords and there it was. I was floored.
What really hit me was how small the world really is. I mean, all of us - this community - was a part of that exchange between Mr. Redford and Joe. What they discussed was what we all do together, and what is being shown to people at Sundance.
We may be all over the world, but we're also all together. Part of a new frontier. Together.
This was a very special project to REmix and I hope everyone enjoys it.
