Tori suggested we start a word game, where we either illustrate some word or phrase that makes us see said word or phrase in a new light, or rearrange a word or phrase to mean something new. my partner and i have kept a similar list going, so i finally did one of them. (see "din of inequity", with thanks to iambatgirl)! another he came up with is "dissative cognizance" - and i know just what he means! - tho i haven't come up with a visual as yet. so, for this collab, either post an illustration of some word or phrase you've reconstructed OR add a word or phrase to the conversation thread for someone else to have at. and, _of course_, free game to remix anything already offered! yay! language deconstruction is fun! |

so i have this idea for a collage of all the wonderful collaborators here - a sort of visual tribute to the many hands and ears, eyes and hearts that make up this wonderful collaborative landscape. my idea is that each collaborator would post a photo or drawing of their hand (including the arm - these would make the tree trunks and branches of the metaforest) and their eyes (these would be the leaves) while the fruits of the trees would be the many red dots of the hitRECord world. and then of course we can add hearts and flowers and birds and critters.....but to begin with, i'd like to start collecting YOUR personal parts! and begin building the metaforest. of course i give a respectful nod to our namesake whose web ID is about the best i've ever seen, and which sparked this idea in the first place. |
