i am planing a big shoot with a mechanical man next sunday (november 20th) and i need a technical drawing of such a "cyborg" until then.

i would tweak the drawing to have a version of him frontal and one from the side. but either version would be great. i want to print a large print of it and put it on the back wall. it will be an important element in the image. so a high res image would be great. at least 2500px on the long side at 180 PPI.

lines towards several parts with techno lingo and measurements would be great also but are no must. if you attempt to do this you have my gratitude already and your credits in the final image too of course.

i propose to unify ALL possible tiny stories about one subject into one collective. we put all stories about one subject into one album/group/collaboration. ie. quantum stories of procrastination (abbreviated: QS - procrastination).

this way we have a library of topics to choose from and not a random selection of broken apart topics. this would also render a data set we can refer to when we want to see what topic needs more attention.

i do not need refined versions instead give me the very first impression you had while reading it. how did you pronounce it?

this is a small survey i want to be completed in 14 days. by then i want as many contributions as possible. please bear with me - i cannot reveal what this is about yet since it will certainly alter the outcome.

for anyone willing to contribute please record BEFORE you listen to the other contributions to remain unaffected. should nobody do this - no worries. it is just a simple trial.

title: drunk moon (literal translation of the german "besoffener mond" - it is a pun on the german "voll" (full) also meaning piss drunk and full.

the challenge:

provide an image of "your" moon. it does not have to be a photograph. simply an image of the moon taken in the next 48 hours. i will then put those images into a collection on flickr and issue a link to everyone who participated. of course there will be a link to the challenge on HR aswell.

invitation went out to: several parts of germany, afghanistan, several parts of the us, lebanon, algeria... now it is your turn to showcase your moon. also state where the picture was taken. gps data would be brilliant. everyone is invited. if i get only images from germany or europe i will be thrilled but i am counting on you all to help me out.

challenge - DIY how to avoid doing actual work?

EXPLANATION: this is kinda personal since this question goes to the core of my creative mind. and more importantly my actual everyday self. this question is the root of my most vicios self criticism and sometimes even disgust. alas i only recently noticed its existence. very often i find ways to be a type-c procrastinator (one that does important stuff while wasting time instead of doing nothing or doing stuff that is less important). you can check out the definitions in more detail here: http://www.paulgraham.com/procrastination.html while being a type-c procrastinator most of the time i still feel guilty towards the tasks/errands i did not do while doing something important. even more guilt strikes me when i actually waste time by doing something seemingly stupid like watching a magnificent tv show or playing a tremendous video game. later it turns out that the magnificent movie has one quote in the dialogue that inpires me for weeks or that the video game gives me a completely new perspective on viewing reality etc. i still feel shitty because i "wasted" time. i do not have that problem with books however. on the other hand i often need several months to get through a book even if it is captivating. but i also tend to read non-fiction primarily.  

TASK: now to the actual task of the challenge: i need you my dear fellow hitrecorders to come up with ways to waste time most efficiently. all 3 types of procrastinators should be represented. lists, visuals, songs and whatever else i cannot imagine right now can be part of this glorious collection.

GOAL: the goal is to determine and identify the most common and uncommon ways to waste time. things that keep us from doing important work. things that enforce our resistance. behavior that causes us guilt and self deprecation after "wasting time".

the finished art piece could be a sequence (video) or an installation or a series of images (drawn, illustrated or photographed).
