so i was playing around with saintmaker's amazing photo & somehow a scary red wolflike demon with a conveniently wide open mouth emerged subtley from the background... surely a sign from the photoshop gods that i'd gotten a chance to redeem myself for that last LRRH REmix i did. hope this serves as an interesting poster for our little red collab! <3
So this is very much a work in progress but I wanted to put the first draft out there and get some feedback and also spark up some interest in this project. I need way more footage to complete this. I know not all of the EX3 footage has been uploaded and Joe still hasn't uploaded his footage but I know that there are still some users out there that haven't uploaded their footage of the parade either. So I urge you all to hit record and upload your footage of this amazing mob of HitRECorders.
Also if you were planning on editing this footage as well, I stongly encouage you to do so. Who knows if we could maybe combine both of our edits together or maybe your edit is just better than mine. So happy remixing and get to work. :)
I may possibly be reading too much into this whole thing, but then again, maybe not. As I've mentioned, I'm a pretty unapologetic feminist, and I have, in the past, walked away from acts I...
An edited/composited version of the scene featuring Joe and Mr. Neil Patrick Harris. I layered audio from a bunch of different clips to make it as good as I could, and did some rough color correction.
I loved alpal's mesmerizing video Reverse Snow and JohnnyClyde's beautiful Snow Song. Metaphorist did a lovely reading of Fractaldust's text Cosmic Significance, And My Lack Thereof and set it to Snow Song. I used trapeze here to try to echo Alpal's original video of snow falling upward.
I did a second version that is set only to Johnnyclyde's Snow Song. It's called SnowSong Trapeze.
From hitREcord on Halloween, New York City.
3 personas, 1 person...
(& 1 fan-fuckin-tastic show! <3333 to EVERYONE who made it possible! hitRECord shows are EXTRA special because there's no split between audience & performers -- we're 1 ENTITY!)
An experiment with the harris shutter effect and time. This is going to be part of a much larger project that revolves around this theme.
