when I found katasul's "we were sailing the seas", I knew I wanted to make a makebelieve world where the little boys could sail off into dreamland in their little tin boat. (all the resources just fell into place so easily for this remix. hitRECord is a treasure trove.)
It's no secret that the Vinyl Collab is one of my all time favorites. I was quite absent for a while and when I came back, the first thing I did was to take a look at the collab page and there was a lot of material to be used (including awesome stuff like pamagotchi's "living sound" and Ryan Patrick's great voiceover that I really had to use). So I decided to compile everything and make a very extended version of the doc. It's about 9 minutes long and there were still things left out.
I wanted it look like a casual conversation between record lovers.
Hope you enjoy!
* Couldn't resource these two videos:

tiny film.
I uploaded the stems if anyone needs them!
I left this version really simple, so there's plenty of space for anyone else to add some more instruments or vocals. The chords I used are C, Am7, F and G
Lyrics:
The wind came
And blew the trees
Turned the meadow
Into a golden sea
Dandelions flew
One seed at a time
Floating away into the sky
You laid your head
Down next to mine
We watched the circus
Marching across the sky
Dandelions flew
One seed at a time
Floating away into the sky
This is a verrrry rough recording on my ipad of what I have so far with my Fall Love Song. Please ignore all of my "do do do's" and "la de da's", I still need more lyrics if anyone would like to make some suggestions, right now I write about one line a day, so it might be winter by the time I finish! Anyway, i would love to see if anyone has any ideas for lyrics or arrangements besides just the piano. I'm really curious to see how this would sound with a guitar or something instead, but I lack the skills :(
Chords used are (in no particular order) C, Am, G, and F, and Fm once I think.
