I've been watcing this movement for a while now and wanted to contribute something. All the resourses I used were in Joe's Album. I downloaded just over a hour of footage and chose what I thought were the key ideas of the movement.-

Inspired by yes-you-am's cool logo animation I decided to try my hand at stop motion and hand stitched the hitrecord logo.

I've been meaning to upload some preshow footage for ages now but I've been ridiculously busy in work. So here's a little remix of some of my footage and and preshow footage I found on the site! :D

A REmix of the "RE: Cinema" discussion with cinematographer Wally Pfister at the "hitRECord at the Movies" show at the BFI in London. I especially liked when Wally mentioned how Hal Ashby's work would later go on to be very important to him. I think it would be interesting to explore our early influences at some point collaboratively.

My visual interpretation of the RegularJOE's tiny story. The first thing that came to my mind was mismatched expectations in a love relationship.

In the end, he decided to call it an early Christmas decoration.

I'm taking a deep breath in as I release this. I've never edited properly before (and in time to music!) so any pointers would be much appreciated. I am a definite newbie!

I was browsing through images of astro/space kinda stuff and found two awesome illustrations, so I decided to play around with them. I inverted Wirrow’s image and made their helmet’s into hearts…and wrote a tiny story inspired by Paperlilies image. Here’s the result.
