Salutations fellow hitRECorders! I'm looking to make an illustrated (or animated) short film of my poem, "Big Bumble Bee Bottom Takes the Ladybug Shuttle". Please check out the full text of the poem here: http://hitrecord.org/records/179490 I will contribute the film editing and possibly some work on the score. What I'm looking for are illustrations (drawings, paintings, etc) and / or animations of the various scenes, also would love to hear your readings of the text. Contributions to the score are also welcome. I will probably make more than one version of the film, depending on the different styles and number of contributions. Then you can decide by your recommendations which one (or ones) you like best! As always, your remixes are also welcome! Some ideas for the scenes: What does the Ladybug Shuttle conjure in your mind? An old Volkswagen bus painted like a ladybug? A ladybug-driven chariot? Open to interpretation. I had in mind that the fleas were maybe smoking a hookah, but cigarettes, cigars, or whatever else is inspired by your imagination works too. I'd like to show the fleas perhaps rolling their eyes or some form of jeering expression when Big Bumble Bee Bottom says "God bless you!" The ending is deliberately left open to audience interpretation (we never find out what it is she found at her destination), but I'd like to show Big Bumble Bee Bottom's expression at the end - one of delight and surprise mixed together.
