Hopefully this may inspire a story and/or song and/or film. I made it as an illustration to go along with my contribution to the 10min writing challenge #7 - CLEAN: http://www.hitrecord.org/records/883259
All of the material I used is in the public domain from a free stock photo website.
*I'm new to hitRECord, so I am a little unfamiliar here, but I am looking forward to collaborating more soon! :)

Of Messengers and Wolves
"I've sat through a thousand other sunsets in my life
They've all been beautiful but this one is for you
It's warming the air around us while the darkness sets in
You are still alive and so am I for the time being
It's gotten hard for me to write and color lost its glow
But the night took you away and left me no place else to go
You're more than a painting ever conveyed to our eyes
More beautiful than the ivory on old piano keys
I never thought the world was a stage but now I see
It was meant to display you, the unrequited, and me
-
Crushed under the weight, a skeleton rusting at its hinges
I am worried that these wolves will take you away from me
And I'm in no condition to fend them off with my bare hands
When they're reaching for yours even though you're not there
This is where the fangs dance electric, where moonlight goes astray
-
Why don't we walk a little ways until the atlas gets changed
And a place we knew becomes a graveyard or a stage
I barely know the sound of your name, but I'm trying
There is only so much a man can find in his own heart beating
Sometimes I fear it's your footsteps leaving
And I wake up to find I was always alone
I'd have asked the ocean to spare us but it owes me no favors
I guess this is love and these must be its labors"
I'm really happy with how Casa di Loops created such a perfect ambiance to complement the tone and feel of the imagery and voiceover.
Would love to hear what people think! Any feedback would be much appreciated!! And thanks for watching!

I was inspired by Tears from Heaven by brandi jeaux and The chapel of nowhere by belcath1981 and wanted to merge the two together.

Here is the shorter version of the experimental Childhood video I made using Spaceship's mix of Metaphorest's "Make Your Mind Up."

I missed you in November, I found you in June |

Jonavan was a bad boy today.
He turned into a werewolf.
This is a tiny story about an imaginary friend I had when I was three. His name was Jonavan. I wanted to find an appropriate drawing to go with the tiny story and "TOM the Rascal" was the best thing I could find that I thought would fit with my story.
Just a fun little experiment I wanted to make for this tiny tune that I love.
I Dreamed a Dreadful Thing
I dreamed a dreadful thing again.
The severed limbs swam round my head.
Tidal waves crashed all around me.
And you were poisoned, ignoring me as if I were
nothing but a leaf, floating down stream.
Distorted and skewed faces replaced
all the windows and shutters,
Boxing me in.
Surrounding me with devious smiles
even though I could not see them.
-I tend to have very vivid, unimaginably scary nightmares that still stay with me after I wake. So today, after such an occasion, instead of dwelling on the images in my mind, I decided to write, and this is what I wrote.
