As you may or may not know, HITRECORD splits profits from a production fifty-fifty.  Half goes back to the company and half goes to all the contributing artists.  For example, there are 471 contributing artists on RECollection, so 471 individual checks are going to be sent out to each of those contributing artists.

Well- we are very behind in sending out checks from our 2011 productions and I really apologize for it.  It is the worst fuck up our young company has made to date.  It really bothers me as I can only imagine it does to you contributing artists. There is no excuse and I am sorry. 

In 2010, we did all the profit distributions by hand, which you can imagine was a huge job.  And in 2011, when we had many more productions that profited it became untenable to keep doing it by hand.  So we have been attempting to come up with a program to automize the process.  And to be quite honest our attempts have failed. And the result of that failure is that we are really behind in paying our artists. 

With that said - as we speak we are once again attempting to automize the profit distribution process and if it works, then we will start sending out checks as soon as next week.  And if it fails, then we will go back to doing it by hand and catch ourselves up with last year. 

Either way, checks are coming soon.  And I just want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.

This version is longer. It's 2:40 minutes, so it's sort of  Director's Cut. Well, it's not quite right for I was not going to make long video at first, because has no idea what could accompany the music at the end, because there are no words, and the Wanderer is already back, and it still should look like animation. Remixing my own record. So here it is.

This is how we propose to split up the profits made from our apparel sold at our RECord Store.  These numbers are thru the launch of the store up to 12-31-10.

some of u were trying things with the imagine drawing so i made it more vectory.. i'll upload a zip of it. you know what amy i didnt notice what u said about the laurels.. so ill make them a separate layer in the photoshop file and u can mess around with it if u like:) i liked how it looked with the blue when via did it and i like how redheadmonster messed with the stars. ill make them into a layer too
