I have this idea. However, I do not have the actors or the equipment to create (yet), so I need your help. This idea is a short film, focusing on the reality of facial expressions and how they are a huge chuck of communication. Nothing can be based solely on words or action. You need the expression (and in an idea for a part two: you need a tone). I have the scenes in my head. Or a scene that could work. Though, if anyone visualizes something else, run with it. This is my thought of the scene: A shot of a field of grass, flowers, etc, zooms into female feet, running. Cuts to male feet, running (chasing after her). Cuts to her body, running. Cuts to his body, running (yada yada). He grabs her, she turns around, cue: expression. The first expression: her laughing, him laughing as if to show they are a couple, playing. The second expression: tears in her eyes, anger in his face, as if to show fear in their relationship (ex: him being a thief, a killer, her being the victim). The third expression: confusion on her, confusion and apology on him as if to show he was chasing after the wrong girl. This is just a quick thought example of what it could look like. There are a number of different scenes and expressions that could get the point across. So there you go. Run with that. In a field of grass. With your own expression (metaphorically and perhaps literally). - shlee |
