Happiness is a very subjective concept that I think it's worth exploring. Is there a true meaning for happiness? Each person has its own definition and we can see on a daily basis how lots of people consider themselves unhappy. Are they really unhappy? Or do they simply ignore or are unaware of the actual things that can make them happy?


Here's a list of things that could lead to happiness (for different kinds of people!):



  • family & friends

  • sucess and achievement

  • wealth / financial stability

  • freedom (a very important one I believe!)

  • his/her job

  • popularity & fame

  • welfare of others (so, being altruistic)

  • dreams and hopes

  • animals and nature
