So I was thinking it would be helpful to have a core subject for the recipe book collaboration and so far I figured Sandwiches would be a good one to go with - they're simple, easy to make, universal, you don't have to be 'good at cooking' to make them etc etc.
I guess the next step is to post your sandwich works! Basically anything that can be in some way instructive to the reader on how to make a sandwich - a poem that details every morsel that goes into it, drawings, blueprints, abstract things. Anything that, no matter how vaguely or complicatedly, could be called 'a recipe' for 'a sandwich'.
What is a sandwich? What different types of bread can you make one with? Do they need bread at all? (remember the Double Down?) What is the philosophy of a sandwich? Do you have any rules for sandwich making? Do you cut diagonally, horizontally or not at all? Do you hate sandwiches? Do you love them? What are all the different names for sandwiches around the world? What's your favourite sandwich? What are some sandwich fillings you just cannot abide? Sandwiches! :D
Every time I heard it when I was editing, 'sended a thank you note' made me want to die from cuteness.
It's pretty simplistic but I thought colours/textures etc could be layered over/into it?
I'm gonna do the rest.
the arteries around London's grimy heart
there are creatures made of human hair
they find their way
into burls and snarls and knots
that blow down into those deep dark tunnels
of different strands
greyed by grime and dirt
filthy monsters that roll along
furring up the tubes like cholesterol
[giant dustbunnies made of human hair in the tunnels of the London Underground are a sort of probably real thing/maybe urban legend]
last attempt at uploading this (totally moot, I've now discovered) video.
It's looped 4 times just cause it wouldn't upload when it was 3 seconds long?
line from 'above it all' poem
or not... sorry. I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. The video is like 2 seconds long and won't upload?
