The x huffed indignantly at the o, "Clearly I should win this tic-tac-toe."
O simply shook his head in disagreement, "Then I'd only feel resentment."
The solution was clear when x received a hug from the o that it melted her heart and give him a kiss.

I took this on September 11, 2001. My father and I were on an Amtrack on the way from Detroit to Chicago. The night before, we'd been in New York City and got out on one of the last flights, ending up stranded at Detroit.

I will never forget that feeling of hearing that the twin towers were hit. Nor will I forget that deep mahogany of the bar as we all stood around and started at the tv in shock and horror.

We finally arrived home around noon on the 12th. Had the ticketing agent not gotten into an argument with my father, we would have still been in New York that day, as we planned to visit the trade towers the morning of the incident.
