newpyramids's RECommendations

Another short film concept :) Id love this one to be devoid of dialogue of any kind, maybe just some people talking in the background, or just the background noise. Maybe as a REmix, someone could add a soundtrack, that way we'd have a 'natural soundtrack' version, and a 'musical soundtrack' version! It opens with a teenage boy in a restaurant/coffee shop, in front of him is a cold cup of coffee and a sketch book The camera looks at the people surrounding him, couples, familys, a pregnant woman, some rich some poor etc. Some he has sketched in his book accompanied by notes A woman walks in the door. She is beautiful and he begins to draw her, making notes as he does so, however before he can finish, she orders coffee to go and leaves. He follows her in a rush, ignoring the attendants shout that he hasnt paid, and follows her into a busy street. He cathches glipses of her now and again in the crowd, following her through streets and side alleys. eventually she enters and apartment complex. there is a man on a balcony outside who is smoking. as the boy watches from the street, she emerges onto the balcony, smoking. She says something to him, and flicks her cigarette over the balcony, onto the street from where the boy is watching. he picks it up and stuffs it into his pocket. She dissapears inside, and in a minute, the door opens and she emerges, forcing him to hide in a doorway lest he be seen. she is accompanied by a dog now, and walks it to the nearest park, where she then sits on a bench and begins to read. the boy sits beside her until he gets a text from his mother, instructing him to return home . Despondant, he throws one last glance at the woman and turns to leave. as he walks away, she opens a small makeup case and dabs her face. The mirror is turned to catch the reflection of the boy, walking away. she watches him until he dissappears around the corner. Its not great, but feel free to REmix the concept!! |

BURNING dAN brightly embodied that bold beastly bliss sometimes referred to as "the creative spirit." He was my chief collaborator on the foundational incarnations of hitRECord.org over the years and continues to inspire us ever the more. He would absolutely positively insist that we not let this bad news deter us on our collective mission. That said, I might not feel up to it for a little while. Watching this community blossom into what it has become never ceased to amaze him and me. We would regularly marvel at it and high five. Thank you all for that. There he is now pouring heaping hollowed watermelons full of love over each and every one of us. Let's celebrate him, he's fucking awesome: http://www.hitrecord.org/records/234697 See you real soon, thanks again... <3 |

MattConley made a tiny story out of Geno's great footage, this is a different version. Just playing around with different ideas. I don't know, does this work?
I sometimes tend to rip my own head off. It's a rather bad habit... I'm trying to quit.
thank you all for your support!
couldn't have done it without you. =D
