Have you ever been told by someone, or told yourself, that you are bad at something artistic?

For me, it is drawing. Art classes at school were mandatory until the age of 14 at my school, and in the final year my teacher failed me, even though EVERYONE ELSE in the entire year passed. Her reason? "You have poor artistry."

Now, excuse me if you think I'm wrong, but I don't think that artistry is something that can be measured. I may not capture colours like Van Gogh, or get proportions right, but…
