mnghali's Featured RECords
This quote from the BFI show really stuck with me
based off of life experience -- the deepest laughter and the most profound tears are usually born together it seems. i've been tossing around wording and such -- as always, feel free to make it what comes into your mind... :)
metaphorest's piece really spoke to me so i decided to spend some time pouring over the words. such a good reminder... :)
i love working with found/rescued materials -- these collages i made out of lima bus tickets that i started collecting off the ground have been such a fun example for me of repurposed "trash" becoming so beautiful and vibrant and a very real picture of redemption. i get a little giddy.
i'm posting them all here because they could be potentially fun backgrounds for other records :).
i was also wondering -- does anybody know if there is a collab going that focuses on repurposed/recycled/found pieces? should we start one?
[other materials include scrap cloth, old playing cards, cut up postcards]

upon looking through your records i was struck by your writing chops and your whimsical sense of humor -- so fun :). i particularly enjoyed your musings on love so i decided to make a little video to go along with it. enjoy! happy holiday!
