A music video for my friend ibamakoto's piece of music. He recorded the music with his phone, so I made this video out of the pictures and video clips I had on my phone. Because of this, the video has a strong personal connection to me--these were images that just lay there in the phone, and now as I look at them, the memories when I took the pictures come back. It's a record of the different places (Alaska, Boston, Los Angeles, Texas, etc) I've been since Jingyi gave me this phone as a gift. It's a different process from having a project in mind first and then shoot footages.

I like capturing light and shadow. I guess videotaping something that is not really concrete existance but beautiful softens my anxiety :-D.
