converse, coerce, reverse
what my life has come to.

mother, father, sister, brother
happy unit, happy home
black sheep green room writing tomes
on sadness longing dysfunction
why did it happen to ME

wishing to write with skilled hands
i demand but don’t understand
this poem’s rhyme scheme or my life or my faults
or why i am the way i am

stand in the shower to run down the drain
maybe one day i’ll disappear
lather up - rinse off yesterday/today/tomorrow’s pain
let it roll off my back shear the wool
of this black sheep

dream the impossible dream
be a director be content fall in love not hate myself
go to college obtain knowledge
have a boyfriend maybe one day?

lie lie lie lie lie
it is the way i deny, the way i cry, for help inside
but my eyes are dry.
