OKAY! I got this copy right the beginning was bothering me and screwy! lol I just love all the vintage footage and enjoyed making this. For some reason I really dig doing darker vids...thats almost all of the vids that I've done lol I swear I'm sunshine though. =D Loved the song and lmao the cartoon tuba is the only footage of tuba I could find but I thought it was randomly awesome. Maybe somebody will enjoy

This is one of those things where I had no idea what I was doing with it, or where it would end up...and this is what it is.

It's a stream of consciousness. Pretty much any time I attempt to free write anything that comes to mind, it ends up in the same direction: My fear of failing in the film world, running out of time, being old etc. I don't know why I always go there.

It reads:

"Always waiting for something

For the next day off

For this job to end

For the next big break

For the next good news

For life to begin

And we forget

That our clocks never stopped

They always kept on ticking

Even if you hated where you were at

Even if you were counting down the days

The trail gets shorter and shorter with each passing moment

Even if you stand still

The clock continues ticking.

Realizations that I’m living in the past

And always talking about the future

While missing right now

All I have is time

Everyone’s graduating college

All I have is time

They’re starting their families

All I have is time

They’re having their children

All I have is time

And my biggest fear is still being here

When the “have” turns to “had”

Time.

Sometimes I feel like I’m running out

But then I remember

That today was going to come either way

And there are no rules to this life

No set itineraries

No promises, or guarantees

This is our time

Spend it how, and in every way

You want.

Because it won’t last for ever.

I will make it in to film."

This one especially is inspired by MattConleys tumblr post:http://mattconley.tumblr.com/post/2568053665/time-is-a-funny-thing-time-is-a-very-peculiar

Although I was inspired by a lot of different things while making this, that quote haunts me. And a new earth was on my iPod on repeat while making this as well. I have the same format as Wirrows video because of it, and because crispyfuller said that the words are relatable, so instead of VO'ing it, I thought it'd be better to read it how you want.

I felt like I hadn't done some visuals in a while ^__^

It was Burns Night here yesterday, so I wanted to try cutting something to a Robert Burns poem. This is a very sweet, sad song, but when I put it to PASIV's music on the offchance, it gave the words bitter, desperate edge (no offence PASIVo, your music is not desperate and bitter!).

PS: Lyrics

Ae fond kiss, and then we sever;
Ae fareweel, alas, for ever!
Deep in heart-wrung tears I'll pledge thee,
Warring sighs and groans I'll wage thee!
Who shall say that Fortune grieves him
While the star of hope she leaves him?
Me, nae cheerfu' twinkle lights me,
Dark despair around benights me.
I'll ne'er blame my partial fancy;
Naething could resist my Nancy;
But to see her was to love her,
Love but her, and love for ever.
Had we never loved sae kindly,
Had we never loved sae blindly,
Never met—or never parted,
We had ne'er been broken-hearted.
Fare thee weel, thou first and fairest!
Fare thee weel, thou best and dearest!
Thine be ilka joy and treasure,
Peace, enjoyment, love, and pleasure!
Ae fond kiss, and then we sever!
Ae fareweel, alas, for ever!
Deep in heart-wrung tears I'll pledge thee,
Warring sighs and groans I'll wage thee!

As usual, I was working on something completely different when I stumbled across the thing I was destined to make this evening. I accidentally played David Hyde Pierce reading "Sonnet 29" over Lizzie Mackie's "Lucid Musician" and this ensued.

Our 'Dance Dance Repetition' has had yet new life breathed into it. Here's a remix of the piece I wrote the other day. I understand that Dr. Gory is busying himself cutting a video for it. I'm going to follow up with stems soon. In the meantime, turn it UP...or turn it down if the neighbors are yelling at you, I guess : )

An assortment of sounds for the Dance Dance Repetition Collab.

Sounds include: scraping a comb, clapping, snapping, knocking shoes together, shaking a box and handful of coins.

This short film was originally put together for a video contest being held by the band 'Emery' and Tooth & Nail Records on YouTube. The event was sponsored by X2Gen. During its run in the contest it was the top rated, most viewed, and most commented video of the day, for several weeks in a row. It was in the top 2 finalists and received over 28,000 views. We wrote, filmed and edited this entire film in a total of 3 days.

To clarify, the story follows a young writer who has run into a case of writer's block. He is stuck at a point of his story that he cannot seem to get past. As he begins making intricate changes to a single moment, objects begin disappearing from the world around him. His obsession to overanalyze and remedy his mistakes eventually cause the entire room to disappear from his grasp until he is left with absolutely nothing.

The song deals a lot with purity, faith, and the initial sexual boundaries faced in young teenagers. We wanted to relate this as much as we could without being too obvious, by using symbolism and metaphors. Overall, the story really just reflects on taking something that may already be sufficient, does not actually need a change at all... and letting your compulsion and ideas overtake it until it is ruined. I think we can all relate with that whether it be a relationship, script/story, decision or any creative project in our everyday life. In one way or another, we are all a perfectionist at heart.

A couple days ago I saw my dad carrying a stack of used drafting paper . I asked what he was doing he said throwing it out. I told him that's nonsense! So I took it ,grabbed my sisters old school project paint and made a little something inspired by Joe's lovely song. Just doing my part for the recycling community :)
P.s Its a little to long for the Nothing Big song so if any superhero remixers or songstresses have any tricks to make it work, it would make me smile♥

I tried to capture the feeling I have when I'm chased in a dream. The darkness and that it usually feels like I can't move fast enough. Like I'm glued to the floor.
A big thank you goes to my friend Franny who literally chased me with the camera in public places yesterday haha.

Geno's "The Talk Man" was a captivating RECord. It seemed like a fragment of a bigger story about the subject, and yet - as a viewer - we were shown a wide range of emotions in such a short amount of time.

I wanted to REmix it without the profanity, but I wanted to preserve the way i felt about the man. So I REmixed the video and the dialogue a bit into the structure of a Tiny Story. The words seem secondary to what this man says with his face.
