I think I'm addicted to making bumpers...

When I heard humunkulus' remix of "Back & Forth" the first time I couldn't get it out of my head and had to put some images to it.

The repetition of "Back & Forth" in the lyrics got me thinking about loops, and routines, and all of the daily stuff we have to do. I used imagery of commuting, public transporation, etc. because they represent communal loops, yet we rarely connect with those sharing our loop. I wanted the pace to build and feel escalatingly frenetic, because isn't that how life is? A year used to seem like forever, but now it's gone before I know it.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun searching the site for various clips, so thanks to anyone and everyone who was resourced for the great RECords. Hope you enjoy how I remixed your material.

Inspired by missamerica's button bumper, thought this could be useful if we ever do anything with childhood/play/etc. It was originally 30 seconds which I thought was too long so I sped it up. If anyone wants the original for any reason, let me know.

I love the stuff LoFi and Charlie Bird come out with, such a great duo! 

This is just kind of a mish mash of styles and feelings. Just decided to have a little fun with some color, music, VO and titles.

P.S. I think Richie "The Voice" Millennium would be perfect for the VO on this. Where you at Richie??

Come work with us on this new song "LOVELY VISIONS," a collaboration that began with a Text Record (written by xanlee) that DevinLevi sang over a spectacular beat by Wunderboy. This song is off to a fantastic start and we are hoping to include it on the 4th issue of our hitRECorderly Subscription series, which will be an artifact we're creating in partnership with Levi’s®.

It will be a book based around the theme of “The Road.” As a part of this production we would also like to include several Audio Records - including "Lovely Visions" - that would be cool songs to listen to on a road trip.
