I REALLY REALLY want us to do a Christmas album. We could seriously put together something amazing. I know we don't have a lot of time before Christmas but we can do it. 

There's already some really Christmas songs on here so if you've done any please contribute them to the collaboration. Also contribute any new ones you might record.

Even if you're not a musician you can still help out by putting together an album of a few of your favorite Christmas songs on Hitrecord. 

Also you could add a link to a public domain Christmas song that you think would be fun for someone to cover. Provide the link to the song in the comments of this video.

As far as the actual sound and direction of all of the songs I think that should be left up to the songwriter and performer. But no matter what style it is try and make it sound Christmasy in lyrical content and musically as well.

This album would obviously have to be distributed digitally only because there's just not enough time to put out a CD or anything. We could sell it on Bandcamp and itunes and give the profits or at least a portion of the profits to a charity. This could be Hitrecord's gift to the world.

Can't wait to hear what you all come up with.
