in the corner of the universe
sits an old lady
who knits the endless fabric of time
and cannot remember how to finish it
As a photographer, I love taking portraits where you can't see the model entirely. I've played with mirrors, architecture... and recently, I started to work with a kaleidoscope placed in front of my camera. The mutiple mirrors in it divide the light in a beautiful way, and create bizarre representations of the human body.
I try to avoid the creepy "several eyes" effect, and focus on creating (hopefully) poetic photographs. I like to take portraits of people where a specific part of their body (one I like, one they like), is emphasized; and the kaleidoscope is one more way to do so !
