Ok so I have an idea for a project that I think can be a great example of what it means to be a creative mind.

As a creative thinker I am a believer that what sets us apart from the rest of the population is our imagination.

Personally I have spent several years in the corporate box and felt the frustration and sadness of loosing my creative mind. However one day I came across this amazing project, which all started in Joe’s head.

Since joining hitREcord I have woken up the oompa loompas of my own head and everyday began to ask myself what can I contribute.

With so many new and amazing ideas running through my head I finally found the one I would like to start with. Which I feel will truly demonstrate what I think this community is all about.

It might be a little far fetched to get accomplished but what the hell...

What I would like to create is a short film about the creative mind. The project begins in Joe’s head. (ideally I would love to have at least 2 days worth of footage of the camera just following Joe on a set or wherever he may be when the little red light goes on.) Why will this be interesting? What I would like to splice and dice into this footage is what our version is of the creative mind.

In other words if others can contribute what I’d like to call “a day in my life” REcords. Along with what it means to each one of you to be a creative mind. You can share pictures, paintings, lyrics, music, drawings, etc.

The film will cut between Joe’s life and ours. It will illustrate the creative inner workings of our minds and how we all come together to create a master piece.

With any luck this will come together just in time for one of Joe’s next big shows, and maybe even sundance.

In my next REcord I will show examples of the types of shots I’d like to gather from those of you doing “a day in my life” REcords. Along with a rough storyboard and any other elements we might need.
