I wrote this for Burning Dan. It's not perfect but I think that's exactly how he would have liked it.

I have a super good idea! I play a game with my friends where they tell me a title for a song or an idea for a song and then I write it for them. When I was thinking about these upcoming shows I thought about how fun it would be to do that live during the show with a bunch of other musicians. We could get someone in the audience to pick a name for a song and then get together and write it and perform it at the end of the show. I'm not sure if anyone else already thought of this since I haven't gone through all the videos for this collab but if you did have this idea then count me in! This song is based on a friend complaining that there are no songs about people with grey eyes. This is what I wrote for him last night, hope you enjoy it and hope to see you at the shows!

After I read Joe's lyrics, this is the (different) melody that my mind heard so I grabbed my phone and recorded it right now at 3 in the morning before I forgot about it or chickened out. A different take on a simple, sweet tune.
