I love all of you more than you even know. Thank you for an amazing week.
MAYBE THE GIRL COULD RECEIVE THE BALLOON IN THIS SCENE OR SHE COULD FLOAT BY IN THE BACKGROUND AS SHE SOARS HIGHER AND FROM A NEAR BY WINDOW OR LEDGE???
When RegularJoe described the idea for the RE:Space Cold Open I got this idea that in there could be a really long rolling shot of the girl rising on her balloon through the stratosphere/atmostphere/all-spheres. This is a background for such a shot.
And right when I uploaded the unfinished version, Ben Mcleod had made the perfect city skyline for the bottom. So here's the whole thing finished.

A peek into the ponderings, problems and possibilities of the American Human.
I hope it finds you inspired :)
I'll be working on some other ideas for the cold open but for now heres a design for the man with the balloons, let me know if you guys think this style would work!
A little dialogue tale I filmed with wolpa based off of AllieMo4989's "The Thing." We tried, very subtly, to hint that this thing might have come from space to help fit it in the "RE: Space" collab. I hope it finds you inspired!
All packaged, labeled and ready to go to the post office tomorrow morning! :o)

I finally found time to record this! A little song I wrote from the point of view of a modern day Hungry Ghost, a greedy big business man (or a woman) who's trying to convert the last free souls to joining him. In my head this happens in a world (maybe in our future, who knows!) where the Hungry Ghosts have eaten almost everything except the factories they've built to make new things. Could look something like the awesome illusrtation by Amberin!
This story might be a bit off-the-track, but it was the first image that came to my mind when I heard the story of the Hungry Ghost... hopefully someone gets something out of this, feel free to remix this as much as you like!! You'll find the stems in the results :))
p.s. yes, I do like pretending that I know how to beatbox and play the harmonica, but hey, first times for everything right? :D
Hello there, don’t be scared, take the monster by the hand
Come on closer, I won’t hurt you, I will help you understand
You look a bit hungry – I know what you need,
Follow me, and let me teach you how to eat
The rule number one is to think about yourself
And when yourself gets big, there’s no room for no one else
See I used to be a skinny little rat like you
But you’ll get big too if you follow the rule number
Two, which is simple: start collecting things
No matter big or small, the more you’ve got the more you win
Life is like a game, see, picking points as you go
And if there’s someone whining, you can just let them know,
that the rule number three says: do what the hell you want
eliminate the obstacles, get out there and hunt
I know it sounds though, but in time you’ll see
Its surprisingly easy to forget how to feel
Now if you do what I say and follow these steps
And forget what’s ”enough” and forget what’s "regret"
Then I might offer you a little precious invitation
To the one and only ”Hungry Ghost Corporation”
We come from around the world from west to east
No matter where we go, we always find a way to feast
If you wanna be like us, big belly’s not enough
Being a ghost requires a dedication to this stuff
Now grab a pen, go ahead and sign this contract
That a boy, good job, now just a tiny fact
Like you know, in life, there’s gotta be a downside
won’t you listen to the rule number four, alright:
As a ghost you’ll get all the things, except satisfaction
And you’ll be incapable of human interaction,
But don’t care about those kind of things that only fools need
Now get out there, embrace your greed and eat
Brookduckart made the AWESOME #1 puppet, FallingAlice came up with the idea and puppeteered, KevinMaistros and I shot it, and Moonbug, OnLy_aMy, Catcheth, FallingAlice, KevinMaistros, WriterGirl811, ellieyah, _hayling, Romana_Clef acted and this is what happened.
RoswellGray's story inspired me to brake out my wacom tablet. Such a beautifully written story, it had me working on this all day (in my spare time).
