Hello there, So, we are nearing the end of the fourth month in the 10th year after the Millennium, which could possibly, maybe, even very likely... mean one thing... The second installment of the HitREChronicle, a publication of sorts where all your lovely work can be collected and shown off, then maybe downloaded and saved, and shown off more. Issue one looked a little like this for those of you who may have missed it, or since forgotten it existed: http://issuu.com/horrorshock666/docs/hitrecchronicleissueone And... it would be lovely jubbly if this time, we made it collectively... if anyone would be interested in doing so. No pressure. Sooooo... if any of you lovely peeps and peepettes fancy having a bash at anything, be it an article about something, an open letter to your fellow HitRECorders, a poem, a collection of your favorite poems, or just anything at all... please do contribute and as the hip kid's say 'Let's do this thang'. I created this in Microsoft word first, then exported to a PDF and then uploaded it to the site, but I'm sure there must be a more simple, effective and generally more reliable method of creation/birth than this. Maybe export to JPEG then I/someone could gather it all up? Who knows. If you have any ideas, suggestions, something to put in this second issue or generally anything at all... please do contribute. I shall be pretty vacant over the coming week as education is pulling at me from all angles and nagging me worst than a granny in her prime, but all being well this could be be gathered over the coming weekend and fingers crossed, published by next week. Oh, and the first issue was RECorded up to a profile under my name, so if you think it best to create one under HitRECord or the like, then I have no hesitations about that. Not sure what happens now, if anything... P.S Don't be disheartened, I will attempt to answer as soon as possible (even from beyond the grave). |

Hey everyone,. I saw this: http://www.hitrecord.org/records/22223 and it made me think... What does hitRECord mean to YOU and why are YOU RECording? So here’s the idea: 1) Record a message about what hitRECord means to you. A short message. 2) Do this however you like. Video, pictures, music, a voice recording etc 3) At the end of each message, end with ‘I’m RECording’. 4) After all this, we put them all together. It could work as a kind of advert for those who don’t know about hitRECord. Along the way we all learn what hitRECord means to other people, and it even allows people to think about just how much hitRECord means to them. Because I’m new, I want to know what hitRECord means to the people who have been around a lot longer than I have... the people who may have seen it evolve, change, who have seen new people come and possibly go, the friendships, the contacts, the amazing opportunities, the work produced and made... anything. I also want to know what new people (like me) think so far, if you feel it's as amazing as I do, or whatever it be. I want to know how it might have changed you as a person, the work you make, your thoughts and feelings, or even how it changes and breaks the boundaries of the art world. At the end of it, if it works, I imagine it could be something we all feel explains who we are, what we do, and how hitRECord allows us to do that... all wrapped up in a short and sweet video. Maybe we could have titles, awesome music. Anything. I’m not sure if this has been done before... but if it has, I can only apologise. I’m still finding my way around this vast universe of creativity we call hitRECord and I may have easily missed it.
