i've been trying to become a better painter but i get too distracted...hopefully something good will come out of my inability to finish a project ;)

I recently got a book from 1896 about science and education...while I feel terrible doing any damage to books, especially old ones, it was already in several pieces when I got it, so I like to imagine that I am giving it a second life :)

sorry for uploading a day late! i wrote it last night but was too tired to scan it. i am ridiculously lazy :/
i had originally written a longer piece, but i wasn't happy with it, so i shortened it (a lot)
so here's a condensed form of the poem along with a little doodle!
