What is the spirit behind hitrecord? A documentary by hitrecorders... This story will be created in the unique collaborative spirit of hitrecord, following the journey of a number of contributors on hitrecord as they work on a number of collaborations together. They will film interviews, take photographs of their own progress. We will discover why they decided to join hitrecord, what hitrecords means to them and what hitrecord means to the future of filmmaking and the creative industries as overheads increase in larger traditional production houses. The film will be a collaborative effort, by some of the thousands of members, speaking about what it means to be a member of hitrecord and why this is refreshing in an industry that is obsessively commercial and is dominated by an exclusive club of filmmakers. It would be cool if people who maybe were working on a particular collaboration could document their experiences (photos, film, then someone could remix it into a series of short docus???) |

Hi, On Jan 15, there will be an 8 minute annular (partial) eclipse that will be visible as a partial eclipse in much of Africa, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia. Won't see another like it (in terms of length) for 1000 years!!!! Idea- have people record the eclipse from wherever they are n also get quick bytes from people about what the the eclipse's significance (religious, symbolic) is to them?????? Or also take pics.... Would be cool and fun to edit together... |

The outcome would be a multimedia edit featuring poems, video and stills from collaborators that I would edit together as they come in...They would answer the question what is love? So? |
