Just the first draft of my take on it.
People in the 90s had no sense of astronomy.
Wanted to test re-timing and give an example of how I imagine this shot coming together with regards to the set/lighting/overall feel of pixelation -- Going to work on the newspaper spin and adjust the set for the closeup cuts.
Ideally, the shot would be composed as a wider shot, showing more of the stage and surrounding foreground filled with audience/reporters, but hard to test without those assets available. So for now, framing was left as originated.
For best results and most remixing potential, artwork and props should NOT be pre-pixelated. Reporters, wives, etc. Would like to get a wider set of american flags, if anyone is up for the task!
I was stumbling around records like I normally do and came across this great audio and took me a bit to find something kind of fitting to my liking of the song and found this film. I though the film was great, but I also felt that the video reflected this image to the viewer who in some ways kills herself by giving in and giving up. I know that in previous logs of what the original tiny story might have had positive notes to build something off of but for me, I kind of imagined that these are the moments when a person could already consider themselves no longer alive in deep dark situations. Hopefully this video protrays that.
OK, please be gentle. This is my first go at using green screen footage.
I was ready to go to bed when the request popped up on my Dashboard. I've been eager all week to start playing around with the green screen footage. So I couldn't go to bed without having a quick play around with it.
So this is just to see if Joe's footage works with what I did earlier. I literally threw this together in half an hour. I will work on it properly over the weekend, but I would very much appreciate feedback/encourgement in the meantime!
Sorry Joe is see-through, I'll definately fix that!
