Cool Stuff! Paint smears! Records! Joe with no legs! Photoshop is the greatest!
I've been working on this little thing for a few hours every night for the past week, mostly because I'm at my job for 11 hours, but also because the render capacity of my Macbook slowly declined as I added more and more layers to the project. I really tried to focus on keeping each of the cuts in time with the music, and as it crescendos, having the visual complexity of the image become more and more pronounced.
The road footage was taken by me, either in Sarasota, Tampa, or Fort Myers. I can upload these files separately if anyone wants to use them without the context of the rest of the video.

This is a French silent film about love and loss. I was really inspired by the music that accompanies this piece, and I loved the grainy, cut-up look of the footage in ESCARGOTS, and the idea for it just sort of popped in my head, so here it is.
And here is where I must admit: French is my third language (the first being Swedish, the second English), and sometimes it really shows. I don't speak it on a daily basis and I found myself struggling with the correct words and sentence structure. Hopefully a native speaker can let me know what rubbish I've done with their poor language and is willing to help me out.
The English translation of the mini-story I wrote:
The days have become lonely, and gray.
I have become nothing. I do not exist anymore, only between the shadows.
Remember our first meeting?
There was this color. I loved every part of you.
Your eyes, your laughter. The beauty of your bones.
But now you are gone.
I live in a fog.
I cannot live without you.
So I will not.

A moving-picture set to my own music, featuring footage from Scandinavia.
This is another experiment with Cinema 4D. The 3D elements were modeled in C4D and it was put together in AfterEffects. I'm not quite sure what hitRECord is doing floating in the sky, but there we are. I thought this could be a neat start to a spot or bumper for some of the collaborative videos.
A short (12 seconds!) 3D title sequence for the Summer in the City teaser. It's my first real go with Cinema 4D animation-wise. The concept behind it was for a organic, nighttime feel (since to me, hitRECord is this lovely, ever-expanding web of creative minds). It's also half the original size (from 1280x480 to 640x240), so if anyone would like me to upload the enormous version elsewhere for download, just give a shout. Hopefully some of you video-editing collaborators can mix this up into something a little more exciting!
