In a land not far from here there was a princess named Chandelier

She lived not in a castle with riches and servants galore,

but right above the old second hand store.

In the kingdom it was quite a shock,

when she removed her crown and grew a mohawk.

the king and queen gasped when they heard the hullabaloo over her freshly inked tribal tatoos

She traded her box full of jewels for a box full of tools,

She had learned  to be quite handy

there was quite a stir over her various piercings, faux fur,

and necklaces made out of candy

Princess Chandelier was content as could be with Ramen noodles and powdered milk

She could do without French poodles and sheets made of silk.

She held her head up with pride as she would not be any man's unwilling bride

 She was glad she gave up her throne and her robe, for a much more humble abode

The hourglass scoffed at the grandfather clock who taunted the wristwatch who mocked the digital clock.

Behind them sat the sun dial, who simply rolled his eyes in pure derision towards all of them.

*This is what I though of when I read creativejuicer’s tiny story.

First of all, if you cover up half of the grandfather clock’s face and the wrist watch’s face, they’re either laughing or glaring at the clock next to them. The sun dial is supposed to look like he’s annoyed by the “less mature” clocks’ behavior towards each other ;)

I was thinking of making the grandfather clock and the wrist watch flipping each other off but decided not to ;) Maybe I should..? Please feel free to remix this! creativejuicer’s story was too cute not to illustrate!*

This is a most random mix of some random records. After trawling through the vast realm of hitrecord I decided to make something...anything!

It started random, but has sort of turned into a quirky little piece, cnostructed with a VO from one of regularJoes regularity records to say everything...and nothing!

that's kinda the point, to not mean anything specific, but to hold meaning in abundance!

to me it's what hitrecord's all about...to you it might be different! I just had fun making it!

I jumped on the wrong train yesterday and ended up somewhere i didn't know! Adventure!

...Only problem was: There was nooothing going on there D: But i had my sketchbook with me and so this is what happened :D
