HERE we go. Attempt #3. Kubi had saved a slighter higher resolution than that shitty one I had previously posted, and so heeeeere is Bad Seeds. yet again.
Like I said before----"This was the tiny story illustration I did while at Sundance this year, sadly it was one of the random images that got deleted from my HR page---so I had to bring it back! Same issue as the image before though, I no longer own the piece and so only have a low resolution file of it."
When I'm not hitRECording, I design and sell jewelry in my online shop and in various brick and mortar boutiques. I came across the hitRECrafts Collab and hitRECord Jewelry Collab, so I was inspired to try something new.
I made a small batch of hitRECord bracelets, with REC beads made of red clay. They are stamped 'REC', and are strung on a waxed linen cord with a sliding knot, making it unisex - I hope- and one size fits all. This was my first time working with clay, and also my first time with sliding knots (thanks, Youtube!), so they definitely have their tiny imperfections, and each one is unique. But isn't that the beauty of handmade?

Last year, I filmed a little piece about my dad being an 'outsider' artist. The show I filmed at was a two-fer in that it showed my dad's art and his assistant Tabaka.
Tabaka is from Angola following his dreams in America.
This piece goes to show the power of art on one's soul.
Andddddd I just realized I misspelled his name in the first line... It's 'Tabaka. Not 'Tambaka'. Sorry, man.
Back in early 2012, I wanted to start filming a documetnary series for the local newspaper where I went along the highway (35) and filmed the stories I found along the way. This was the first/pilot 'episode' about a couple I found after seeing their little house off the access road.
I figured this would be a nice addition to the Road collaboration because not only have they lived in the same area for 80 years and had a highway built a stones throw away, but they are also journeying down life's road hand in hand.
It gets pretty religious in there (I'm not religious by any means) but, I think it helps fill in the time capsule on this lovely couple.
Feel free to use this any way you want.
I'll be throwing up the raw footage soon.
I've been waiting and watching these past few months (much to my mounting frustration) for the perfect image/s to REmix for rajasoup's tiny story and then, finally, I stumbled across this amazing little guy by darrylfletcher (check out his other RECords!).
It was well worth the wait. The style reminds me of those hard cover little story books you used to get at the supermarket check out (it was the 80's for those youngins playing at home) and I miss them.
Download for better quality and size.

A girl once told me that peeling the labels off beer bottles was a sign that I was sexually frustrated. "So is this," I said, then sobbed. |

Okay, so a LONG time ago I said i'd do this. And now, finally, it's done. 1955 individually captured movements, so it's a little longer than my previous test, and longer than I originally planned for it to be, but it now fits the entire lengths of Stephen Trask's excellent Stay Away: Tiny Tune. I loved TanjaTHEAwesome's great HitRECord Logo Sky Hands bumper, and thought it kind of went well, so I decided to pop that at the start. There's loads of bits in this that i'm not happy with, but overall I suppose it's not too bad. If anybody wants me to upload just the film, unedited without the flickering border/music/credits/bumper just let me know. Anyway, I hope y'all like it.
