This is a photo for the alt/rock band Microscopes: In the photo: Dan Giraldi, Dan Brokenborough, Will Dey, Tim Mifsud and Matt Crawford.

All of whom were involved in the creation and production of the collaborative project: MITACT 2620. From December 1st - 20th 2008, producer Dan Giraldi recorded the efforts of over 30 musicians in an attempt to spontaneously write, perform and record 26 songs in 20 days. Much in the same way that Hit Record is trying to open up the channels for creative collaboration, the MITACT project was a micro version of this whereby creative types from the community of the Australian Capital Territory came together and where scheduled/paired up with other people they had never met who had different musical tastes and cultural backgrounds. The focus was on trying to promote more mateship amongst artists within the community, hoping that they in turn will help and encourage others to be creative, spontaneous and cooperative.
