Cinestudio is a fantastic archive movie theater in Hartford, on the campus of Trinity College. The theater is located in the basement of the science building, and entering it is like going back in time. They show all the best current indie films, as well as old classics and reprints.  When I was in school, I volunteered tearing tickets there every Saturday night so I could watch the double feature for free. I don't know if I would have survived college without this place, and years later I still miss sitting up in the balcony and watching the curtain rise.
