Another "off the path" kind of reMIX and an ode to René Magritte's "This is not a pipe," but in Little Red Riding Hood style.
kittypimms "the knife as a metaphor" text record brought this to my mind.
I made this piece (with text on the banner) for another project, and I thought removing the text would be a perfect way for this to have a lot of reMIXing possiblity on hitRECord.
A watercolor and colored pencils illustration on clayboard, details then scratched out with scratchboard tools.
Even if you don't like the content of the RECord, it is high-res with a lot of great color and texture you can extract for remixes. Be sure to Download to see the fine details.
