My dad passed away in 2004, and he didn't really leave many physical belongings behind, other than some photographs as he was big on photography. He was in a band back in the 70's that was pretty popular in his hometown of North Saint Paul, MN. At his funeral, one friend called him, to my surprise, "a local legend.
The band played under several names over time, The Bull, John Johnson Band, Lady, Diamond, Backbreaker. My dad John Johnson was lead singer/songwriter/ guitarist, his friends Jim on guitar, and Donn on the drums. They played school functions, bars, weddings, etc. and never really made any money. If anything they would lose or barely break even, but they didn't care because they were in it for the love of the music.
My dad instilled in me love of music and art, and for that I am grateful. And that is also one of my favorite things.

My favorite things have sentimental value, which to me is worth more than any amount of money. |

I've always loved the song "Pieces" and the Community Mix Lyrictician did is great. I've already edited a video for this song, for a different rendition. http://www.hitrecord.org/records/1153422
Here is a new video, going in a completely different direction.
