Hey guys. Ok.. So hopefully you're all familiar with the concept of a silent disco? Basically I thought we could do our own hitRECord version, where we film ourselves going crazy and dancing around to music with headphones on (suggested song on the Skype chat was Haddway-What is Love, but it can be anything that gets you on your feet) Then we can splice all the footage together and put it to our own brilliant music mix care of Mr Jeremy Haus_of_Glitch and his genius musical stylings. Sound good? Great... now get up, get dancing and shake what your mamma gave ya! (And maybe we can turn this into the biggest silent disco across the world) |

Hello Hitrecorders :) I need your help!! I've released quite a few text RECords before but this is my first ever audio contribution, and collaboration for that matter, so I'm very excited ^_^ Anyway, I wrote a little song a few weeks ago and I could really use some instrumentation.. or, in fact, input of any kind really :) It's just basic vocals with guitar so far.. so I think it needs something extra. And what better place to look for help? ^_^ Feel free to play around with it and maybe add more vocals if you like. I was thinking maybe some piano/viola/cello/violin parts? But anything goes really. It has quite a soft and whistful feel which is something I'd posibily like to develop on OR, we could go the opposite way and mash it all up completely, break it apart, remix it and add some beats, whatever you feel like doing. Ideally, I'd really like to underlay it with some crackles and pops like when you play vinyl and splice in instuments and vocals and maybe some edits. I dunno.. Just an idea. I'd love to deconstruct and toy around with it myself but I'm not too sure how... which is where you guys come in! Please help!!!! Thank you ABH <3 |
