This is is just the voice track for Sorry for the hiss. Doesn't matter so much with background music...

It's still 11:11 for me because I haven't slept. I've been working on this instead.
I'm thinking I'll put a bunch of these rants out on odd Thursdays, and eventually you guys can mix and match and make new ones. Sort of like refrigerator magnets. But with snow.
This is the first thing I've written since dan died. It was really necessary for me. He always wanted me to write poetry. I don't know if this counts, but it's what I got, so there you go.

this is an old celtic tune by the name of Bonnie George Campbell that was originally about a guy who goes out riding one day.....and his horse returns later, but he doesn't. Oh dear.
We were so tired of singing celtic songs about dead guys that i re-wrote the words, and we recorded it with some appropriately woodsy sound effects, overdubbing my harmony vocals later in the kitchen.
if you listen closely at the end, when the chimes sound - which was purely accidental, as the chimes hung outside and it was a windy night - you can actually hear me smile about it because the mic was still turned on!

Just a little adjustment to cat's photo.
