Okay everyone, as you can probably tell, this took a while.
The piece begins with a single robotic voice that slowly multiplies and humanizes until the final few lines are completey human and distinctive.
I think this goes along with the meaning behind the text more accurately.
Let me know what you think. I think this could go very well with the video.
I spliced together many VO tracks, musical score, and a collection of clips from various hitRECorders.
This is to get an idea of what we've got so far.
I think we may need more clips of large crowds/cities/advertising/technology towards the beginning. Clips of large groups of people all of which are doing the same thing. Big enough so you can't really distinguish faces so you really get a feeling of an aimless herd of people doing what they're "supposed" to do. Then perhaps smaller groups/recognizable faces/nature towards the end so it will leave the viewer with a more human feel. Just a thought.
Everybody's doing a great job. I'm excited to see the final product!
This is a song I wrote a month or so ago about feeling like you just want to go somewhere where you can be yourself.
Feel free to use however you want. I'm also going to upload an instrumental version.
Here's the instrumental.
Use however you like.
