My screen name comes from the poem by e.e. cummings with the quote in the title: "in time of lilacs who proclaim / the aim of waking is to dream." I've always been really into dreams, because I dream very vividly and almost always remember my dreams. But ever since I saw Inception this past weekend, I've kinda been obsessed with dreams... my own and other people's. Yes, I know this sounds like it's pandering to the creator of this production company/website :), but before I even knew this site existed, I've been all over Facebook talking about this same thing.. lol. And it's honestly the best movie I've seen in a long, long time. And I love the idea of this site. I think it would be cool to get some sort of dream collaboration going. Maybe where we all document our dreams in print, video, audio, whatever and try to see what comes of it. Could we make a coherant story out of incoherant dreams? I'm not good at visual art, but I would love to see someone who is do a rendition of some of my (or other people's) dreams. What do you think? |
