Text_notecard_shadow_top_left a story

When I was little I had a lucky penny. I believed that it would grant me one wish every night. Before bed I would hold it in my hand, concentrate on my wish, then sleep with it under my pillow. My Grandad was sick at the time with a heart condition and I knew he didn't have long to live. Because of this I would always wish for the same thing. I would wish for Grandad to live for one more day. If I made that wish every night I could fall asleep knowing that Grandad was safe. One day Grandad passed. Either my lucky penny wasn't magical...or I had fallen asleep the previous night before making my wish. Either way, he's gone. 		Text_notecard_shadow_top_right
