The Longrays of the ancient past still cast down from worn stones in almost forgotten places and it is in one of these rings of stone that a council of withering & waining shadow preside over all realms of the diffrent shadow lands. (it is not known if other shadows hold council here as well, but some believe that on certain days the light is right for an equal council of all shadow types.)

The Elder council of shadow fear his return... for Tenebrae conspired to rule Umbra and turn it’s inhabitants into slaves. However the Noondays, Longrays and Midlights all stood united and banished Tenebrae from Umbra.

(but in secret he grows stronger for Tenebrae has learned to increase his strength through consuming other forms of shadow.)
