I am not much of a screenwriter which is why I work as a creative consultant to a few writers who are just starting out. However I had this idea and if anyone wants to take a stab at turning it into something I would love the help. Thanks Jim The device uses nano-technology to create an synthetic central nervous system in side of an organically created body and once the central nervous system is mapped and created within the new form, brain function transfers from the original body to the new host body. The transfer is gradual and at one point the brain is controlling both bodies which require the brain to be in an induced coma to keep the bodies still to reduce possibility of injury. The transfer takes up to 72 hours to complete depending on the age of the person and the health of the brain. The process not allows the full transfer of a person to a new body but because of the efficiency of the new central nervous system the body reacts faster and there is less signal degradation over time. It is like having a fully developed infant body. The nanites in the new body will be in a constant state of repair of the new body making the new body immortal for lack of a better term. Once the new brain is inside of the new body the nanites will move into the brain and not only repair any damage done but will also increase brain function. The anticipated result is to see if we can stimulate the brain to perform at a higher level speeding up mans evolution. We could very well be creating the most advanced functioning human mind ever known. The device is connected to where the brain and the central nervous system connect. It creates and inhibitor field to keep brain function from bleeding into the new body until the new central nervous system is complete. Once complete the inhibitor filed is taken down at a rate of 5% per hour. These ease the brain into the new system as to reduce the possibility of sending the brain into shock and having it shut down and losing both the brain and both bodies. Once the process begins there is no reset and there can be no disturbance or pause in the process until complete. This is the explanation of the process during a montage scene showing the process taking place. The shots will be circling the camera around the two tables with cgi shots showing the forming CNS (Central Nervous System) and there will be some close ups of the device and additional nanites cgi. The scene should be no longer than about 30 seconds on screen time with voice over explanation of the process. Privately funded by some billionaire that wants to live forever but does not want to wait until he is old. The body created looks like him. Early 30’s decent shape but not cut. There will be a scene where the new body starts out looking exactly like his old but over a period of days the nanites will improve the body for maximum efficiency. Side effect is the nanites will respond to any brain command. Meaning the new body can be modified by the nanites to allow the changing of the form of the body. Essentially we have made a living chameleon with unlimited brain potential. We are talking the possibility of telekinesis, telepathy as well as several other theorized possibilities of what an advanced brain could do. |
