For Sale: Baby Shoes, Never Worn. -Ernest Hemingway This is one of the shortest (and most popular) works of fiction in history, and I have this idea that we all write our own six word stories, either professing something or telling/retelling a tale, etc. Maybe you can make a video or audio of you saying the piece, and we can bring it all together into one collaborative artwork, or take them individually and decipher them, making videos or drawings or sketches or paintings based on what we think they mean, with a narration of the story running alongside it. |

It may be a little cliche, but then again no thought can ever be original with the amount of people that have lived and fathomed before us. This is a collaboration in which you can speak to god; wether it be through a written letter or a spoken one. You can put out your qualms with him, about the problems in your life, you can thank him for things, you can condemn him, you can admit things to him, whatever it may be. This isn't really here to be religious. Think of God as more of a... epitome of the reasons for everything, and the man you go to for solutions or complaints of any kind. I think this could be a very touching, interesting collaboration from which we can all draw inspirations through our peers' jubilations and/or problems. |

We have many problems to face every day as individuals; whether it be because of school, work, love, a fear of ours, etc. So, why not talk about your "monster"? What problems are terrorizing you, bothering you, or keeping you from accomplishing or attaining whatever it is you want? It can be a picture, an essay, a poem, a video, anything. What is your monster, and how do you overcome it in your daily life? What would it look like if it were personified? How would it speak? c'mon, guys. let it all out. We're here to be creative!! So, as I look around this wonderful site that we have here, I realize one thing; all of us, as individuals, have a face. Have a life, and experiences that we have had, and, consequentially, a mind. You see, the mind is a powerful thing. what i want to do here is get people to add whatever they can relating to their thoughts, or to their lives. we all have a story to tell, and we should all get a chance to tell it before we die, so why not do it together? wether its a paragraph about what you're thinking, an essay on the philosophies behind human thought, contemplations of our existence through videos or writing, or even drawn pictures of what you see in your mind! add it! add it all here, so that we can make a collaborative video, text, anything! to show the world that you do not need a degree to be artistic, that just because hollywood does not know our faces we cannot be heard. we must all be heard. it is our right, our privilege, our duty, even, to tell the world that we are here! as individuals, growing mentally every day, and as a group, a whole, helping each other grow artistically. we all have challenges to face. we all have and have had problems, and we all have hopes and dreams. express them, and hopefully we can make something beautiful come out of it. We have all lived, we have all laughed, and we have all loved- now let's tell the world. |
