I'm leaving for Christmas in the morning and going back home, which means i won't have any internet until January, which sadly means no HitRECord.

Thank you for an amazing year and for some amazing opportunities. It's certainly been an adventure, and one which i've shared with some amazing friends I've made through this place.

Aplogies this isn't perfect, I had to rush it inbetween packing to go home and saying my goodbyes :)

I hope you all have a magical Christmas time, or however you celebrate, celebrate it well and with happiness. And also, Happy New Year in advance. Don't be getting too drunk ;)

An exploration of owls. Experimentation with shape, squash & stretch, personality, emotion.

I sat down and sketched these little buggers out in my sketchbook and later picked out the ones I enjoyed the most and laid them out in CS5. I then gathered reference photos of many different varieties of existing owls. ...And then I set to work!

I had alot of fun doing these! So much so that im currently working on a sheet of frogs! Keep an eye out for those later this week :)

My nephew. He's 6 years old. A potential artist and... why not? in fact. He loves draw and painting. He marvel himself with drawings, paintings, figures... I love his expression when it happens, I adore her illusion when he shows me his paintings. Maybe love of aunt, but I'm sure he's good!. This is my "soft-caricature" of him.
