Here is my idea for the guy in the proposed short "Subway Existentialist". I may have went a little to "Disney" with this, I'm not sure but I enjoyed working it up to final render. I will upload eyes and hands for both characters over the next few days

Nathan and Katie of FauxFix RECorded a song in The REC Room at Sundance entitled "Little Smokestacks." It's a beautifully atmospheric song about that magical time in winter when the days are disintegrating and there's a short period of time where the sun is going down and night is rising.

And we're going to make a NEW SHORT FILM for this track!

I guess the idea of showing us the image with the guides ("Grids are good.") was mostly illustrative, but inspired me to do a remix with the same storyboard style.

I had fun doing it! (I love the templates, haha)

Project previous I needed a few landscape backgrounds, which I think I'm getting better at.

Well, less about accuracy, more sensibilities. Fun times though :)

CALLING ALL ARTISTS: Let's start making art together around the theme of OUTSIDERS! This theme's all about the outlaws, the outliers, and the odd ones out that march to the beat of their own drummer.

What is it that makes people want to do things differently? How do outsiders help change the status quo? Can you be popular and an outsider at the same time?

These are all things to consider as we take this theme of Outsiders & create art together on hitRECord!
