A little something that I've been working on. I remember trying to fall asleep as a child. The slightest noise would somehow find a way to sound scary. This is as close to a visual representation as I'll probably ever get to that feeling. 

I'd like to eventually have a bunch of similar pieces, that convey the feeling of certain sounds, designed over waveforms. I'm posting this one here, hoping that it catches the eye of a few people who wouid like to take a stab at a few different sounds. 

I think it would also be cool to eventually have a collection of emotions as waveforms as well. 

Anyway, just trying to come up with some new ideas for us all to work on! Hope you enjoy!

This is the followup piece to "Quite a Scary Sound." It's for a little collection of waveform art that I'm working on. 

This particular wave was recorded in Adobe Audition. I spoke the phrase "All You Need Is Love" and then took a screenshot, and imported it into Illustrator to vectorize it. It's still using the same tiny Sound Monsters that was used in the original, however these particular monsters seem to be a bit happier :) 

If you like the idea, feel free to contribute your own pieces to the mix! I'll be sure to create an album here soon to throw all of these into. If you can think of a tiny story to go along with any of these, please do! I'd love to see everyone get creative with this one.

Tiny Monster audio project. This one is for sadness/depression. Recorded the word "Sadness" then brought that wave form into Illustrator, and built around it.
