Sometimes when my daily workload is heavy, I like to take a break from what I'm doing and make a poster. I do this at least once a day, but today I was particularly inspired by the hitRECord article on Indiewire. So, I thought I'd share today's "break poster".

Though I never had the pleasure of meeting, working with, or knowing Dan - the article today was about the history and future of hitRECord. I thought it only fitting, to remix Dan's record from 3 years ago. Before today, I thought that because of not knowing him it would be only respectful to remain silent in his presence. Recently, I lived at a house for a week with many RECorders who did have the fortunate pleasure of meeting, working with, or knowing him. They changed my mind. Respectfully, in memory of.

You may have heard that I wrote and directed the upcoming movie "DON JON." It's a comedy about this guy named Jon who is very into his things - his car, apartment, body, and the women in his life that he treats like objects on a shelf. I want us all to make art regarding the theme "MY FAVORITE THINGS."

For instance, ask yourself: What are your favorite things? Can you truly love a thing? Can people be considered 'things?' Do our favorite things define us?

I've had this movie in my head for so long now, I'm really curious to see what kind of stuff it inspires us to make together.
