This is a remix of the tiny story 'Dreamers' by Sophie Myles (wolf-fucker). I thought this story would look best on an American dollar bill so I scanned one in and remixed away.
Imagine a world where we are paid not with money, but with sleep.
And the richest man on earth would live his life dreaming of the most wonderful things.

Hey Friends, We have just released v5.7 of the site, with the following juicy morsels:

Stella helped me with this:)
Inspired by missamerica's button bumper, thought this could be useful if we ever do anything with childhood/play/etc. It was originally 30 seconds which I thought was too long so I sped it up. If anyone wants the original for any reason, let me know.
i wrote this for my son, Jonah, when he was a wee baby :) He'll be 10 years old this coming August.... time flies when you're having fun :)
Got this idea from Joerud (and Pamagtochi) for the spinning button. Filmed on a white background, left the sound in and faded in the hR logo.
Once again, let me reiterate that RandomProcessVol2.0's "Night road" is truly a thing of beauty, and this remix was a mere consequence of its brilliance.
The original was unfortunately deleted off the site (was previously at http://www.hitrecord.org/records/967448, also located at http://hitrecord.tumblr.com/post/32969102520/on-the-road-poster-remix-by-fractaldust), but here it is again if anyone wants it :)
At the minute I first heard TheBaerGypsy's undescribably beautiful instrumental "Green Set Overture" (go check it out it's amazing!), for some reason I thought of the "Whale house" by rabbleboy. I guess there's just something so surreal and illogical in both of them, they're so beautifully dream-like... I don't know, it's a little experimental but I just had to sing it. Hopefully it inspires someone to do something :) I'll upload the stems first thing tomorrow!
Enjoy <3
It’s all just a bad dream don’t cry
It’s all just a dream, it’ll be alright
Let me tell you what we’ll see when we wake up
Let me tell you what we’ll see, let me tell you where we really are
We sail away on a whale
At the dawn of a brand new day
We’ve planted all the trees and we’ve built our own house
And no one has drowned
We sail away on a whale
No one cries, no one feels pain
Hear how the wind whispers, you heard what she said:
We never shipwrecked
