I was thinking about phrases people use regarding "my body is" the other day, and I thought it was a collab that had some potential.
Add any type of RECord - video, illustration, song, text, etc. - using a "my body is" phrase. My body is a temple... My body is a machine... ...etc.... |

Hey HitRECord Family! (That's You!) Reality Blonde here. Soooo, the deal is, I am celebrating my second 29th birthday in January (*wink wink*) and my sources tell me that our "benevolent dictator*" is also celebrating his second 29th birthday (*wink wink*) shortly thereafter (February 17th). I challenge you to tell me that Depression hasn't touched your life in some way. You all may know me as Reality Blonde, but I am also Bridget Devlin Burke and I am working as a part of the Walk to Washington. To make a long story short, a handful of people have been walking from St. Louis to Washington D.C. on an 835 mile, 50 day walk to help bring better treatment and awareness to depression and end the stigma that is still attached to this disorder. Once I discovered hitRECord, I immediately thought of the impact we could all make on the event. Please take a look at walktowashington.org for more information. Can we band together and create something that embodies the spirit of this Walk? Did you know that 54% percent of people think depression is a personal weakness but nearly 10% of American adults suffer from depressive disorders? A shocking 80% of people suffering from depression are not currently receiving any treatment. 15% of them commit suicide. Please contribute your stories, your thoughts, your words of encouragement. Anything you think that we could mix together and make a video perhaps. The hitRECord community has the power to make a difference. Let's make a difference. |
